I don't fancy spending the next month trying to get librarian out of the carpet.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Ugly Betty: Henry has a beautiful smile. And I've seen the guy who plays Walter around the city, so I kind of want to root for him, but he's like the least likable person on the show! Given that nearly everyone is a villian, that's saying a lot, either about his inability to raise the character over "whiny parasite" or the fact that the writers don't care to write him anything good. (I also caught up with the NYE marathon and watched a bunch last night. His tantrum in the nice restaurant was unacceptable.)

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Betty/Henry 4EvAH!!!1!

She should totally drop Walter (who at least is trying, but he just doesn't get her new life) and hook up with Henry!

Walter *is* trying, and that's what makes it all complicated and shit -- it would be easier if he went back to SkankHo from the first episode.

He was dorkily cute at their Halloween sushi lunch, but smoking hawt in that red sweater at the Xmas party.

Right?!? Plus, he just looks SO enthralled with her. Everyone should have someone who looks enthralled with them like that.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Beej, did you ever read this briliant fanfic about Madam Pince? "Desk Duty" is probably one of my favorite fanfics ever, because it so perfectly describes a librarian's point of view about her job and her charges (the books, not the patrons).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks again, guys!

I was just catching up on TiVo (my life is glamourous like that), and first up is Dirt, in which a friend from krav is appearing, and I had closed captioning on.

When the words "Crumb McGuff" flashed across the screen, I had to rewind. Turns out Johann's character was saying "I know krav maga."

Poor deaf people.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Right?!? Plus, he just looks SO enthralled with her. Everyone should have someone who looks enthralled with them like that.

Seriously. I would like a Henry for me, please.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, Kathy, that's a terrific bit of library fic, and I never would have found it on my own! Thanks so much for the link!
