Why would anyone want someone to swear in on a book he-doesn't-accept-as-holy, if there's a book he does think is holy, one which he willing to use, in an oath?

Except, of course, I fear their answer would be "Yes." and then they'd give some reason Jefferson was actually in support of the terrorists, what with wanting to give the people so many rights and stuff, and that he should never been allowed to be one of the founding fathers.
