I miss Oz. He'd get it. He wouldn't say anything, but he'd get it.

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

You know, SA, you can make hash browns even in blighty. Or Ireland. They do have potatoes over there.

Well, I have. And I made latkes. And lots of other potato-related things. But it's not the same as, say, Waffle House. Good. But not the same.

Damn zazie for making me dream of ginger bread pancakes.

And I see IM names. Hmm.

You're welcome to take note of mine!

Because books.

It's a quiet morning in here.

Today is me and DH's 18th wedding anniversary! We've so far celebrated by giving each other a kiss. There may be wine after the kids are in bed. And possibly other enjoyable things.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Happy Anniversary, AmyLiz & her DH!

Raq, I hope Mal's much better. That is just unfun.

We're in the middle of Cold Fest '06 and the noses are running like faucets. Low grade fevers, crankiness and all around misery. Olivia cries whenever I set her down.

Happy Anniversary, AmyLiz! YAY!

Poor Cash and family. Misery no good.

I got home to much mail and packages! SO fun! I had a picture card from Jessica. Such a cute picture! AND! I got one of those packages Ginger packed right before being sent to the home. I laughed and laughed.

I also got...well, actually, Toto got a package from a friend of mine. She crocheted him a blankie! It's so cute!

ION, does anyone have a really good carrot cake recipe? I used to have a fabulous one, but I can't find it anywhere. I'd just buy one, but mom can't have nuts, so I want to make one from scratch.

Oh, now I want carrot cake. There is a vegan bakery in town that makes a carrot cake that is to die for.

I had to go off on some Jehovah's Witnesses this morning. They've been here before (it was the same people), they know my feelings on their religion. And yet they stopped here, knocked on the door, made my dogs bark and woke Olivia from her morning nap. I was up at 2 and 5 with Liv because of the cold. I was less polite than the last time they stopped. I don't think they'll be back.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Good for you, Cash.

Fiona had a carrot cake recipe in the cookbook.
