ND is still asleep. No word on his mom this morning. We're waiting for his sister to call with an update once all of the test results are back to determine if we need to hurry down to San Diego today. Fingers crossed.

We had a lovely Christmas, have been eating lots of yummy food, and we signed a lease in D.C. In a few minutes we're headed out to the ice cream place with my niecphews, and then we're taking them to the indoor go-kart track.
It really is such a beautiful little dress. I wish I had a picture of Em in it. The workmanship and quality is like nothing that is around today.

You know, I really doubt I'd dress a boy in Feltman, except for a christening perhaps. But even though girls are just as active and energetic, somehow they can get away with lace and embroidery and pintucks. At least once in a while.

It's very entertaining to see people get all upset. Actually, not really, but I'm trying to make it entertaining. They probably wouldn't like to know that. I'm very zen, for some reason. I know the reason, actually--it's that damn radical acceptance. It's made me a whole different person.
