It's very entertaining to see people get all upset. Actually, not really, but I'm trying to make it entertaining. They probably wouldn't like to know that. I'm very zen, for some reason. I know the reason, actually--it's that damn radical acceptance. It's made me a whole different person.

And sumi, I'm so, so sorry about your knee. Is there any relief possible through PT? Or surgery? Or both? Cortisone to the bursa is a good short-term relief, but it's not a permanent fix. I hope you find something that fixes, or at least betters, the condition you're dealing with.

Oh, and I should say that one of the guys came back yesterday and covered the holes and took away the radiators. The cat Ivan was extremely freaked out and disappeared until about 7:30. I was both convinced that he'd run away and too sick to do anything about it except be sad when he suddenly appeared.
