One word: Fireball.
Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Careful, Christmas trees can smell fear.
Some of us idiots are doing both. Oh god, whyyyyyyy?
One word: Fireball.I know it wasn't a response to my post but I am holding it tight and calling it George anyway. Nothing says "Happy Holidays" like a family-sized flambe.
Careful, Christmas trees can smell fear.
Remember, the conifer is just as afraid of you as you are of it.
From this article on an interview with Angelina Jolie: [link]
"We are legally bound to our children, not to each other, and I think that's the most important thing," the twice-divorced actress is quoted as saying.
I'm not sure what she's saying here. Lots of parents are legally bound to their children but still split. And lots of times it's bad for the kids. I respect that they're not getting married, but it seems like a weird thing to say. Does it seem like that to anyone else?
I know it wasn't a response to my post
See, that's the beauty of Fireball. It's the correct response to just about everything.
Including grinchly turkey-shirking ex's.
Conference call is 9 minutes late....
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
vw, I think she might be refering to Brad Pitt having legally adopted her two adopted children, but I agree the quote doesn't make much sense.
Oh, I know what she's referring to.
I'm not sure what she's saying here. Lots of parents are legally bound to their children but still split. And lots of times it's bad for the kids. I respect that they're not getting married, but it seems like a weird thing to say. Does it seem like that to anyone else?I read it as they've both had failed marriages so they know that commitments just to the person can end up not lasting. What they are committed to now is their family, as a whole. I think that is a more permanent binding, the way I read it. He adopted her children, that reads to me like a bigger commitment than a marriage even.
And, yeah, I spent more time thinking that over than I would like to admit.
