Erin, I cracked up at your description of trying to explain Perkygoth to your students. I can just picture the confused expressions, poor munchkins.

I call them my "little ducklings" all the time. All this little badass BG's and they wince EVERY TIME. But now some of them quack at me. I love it.

erinaceous looked like what I want to be when I grow up.

Sophia looked beautiful and fabulously put together. Lots of animal prints, and she was amazingly gracious to me as a roomie.

Plei, to me, always looked like dark willow, and we had the same hair coloring and body type 'cept she was skinnier, so I felt immediately comfortable.

Trudy was TALLER than I thought. Everything else was unmistakeably her.
