Art Crawl!!!

Hey, who was talking about their baseline temp being low?

I just went to the dr. today and my baseline temp is 96.something. (So all those times I felt fevery and took my temperature and it was in the 97s or 98s so I thought -- I CAN'T be sick or my thermometer must be off -- I REALLY did have a higher temp than normal. . . for me.)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My baseline temp is somewhere around 96 or 97. Generally, when I'm just kind of sick, it'll hover around 99 or 99.5. Anything above 100 for more than a day means a visit to the doctor, who'll generally take my temperature and say it's nothing, and then listen to my lungs and look in my ears and say, "Huh. You really DO have an infection."

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I felt kind of lousy yesterday, but today is much worse. I have to go to work tomorrow

Well, I did start this on Thursday, so it seems to have a 5-day run. Sorry!!

I'm getting the pig!

GC, job~ma for your GF!

Belated birthday happies to you, ChiKat!

Hey Kristin (and any other sickies) - hunt down some Cold Reduce by Healthy Relief. It's homeopathic and it works, as opposed to the Airborne that just wasn't cutting it this time (for me, anyway). My sis talked me into picking up a bottle on my way home yesterday. I went to sleep feeling like ass and woke up this morning feeling *at least* 50% better than I have in about a week.

This is driving me nuts. I need to get my sister a birthday present. She's really tough to buy things for. Last night, I thought of something great to get her. I remember thinking that I could check to see if Tower Records has it, since they've got everything at about 50% off right now. And now I can't remember what it was.

move out and draw fire

I love you like Winchesters.

I love this turn of phrase so very much.

I do too, except for different reasons.

Thanks Nicole! I'll shuffle down to the local CVS and find some later today.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Kristin}}} Feel better.

GC, tons of ~ma to your GF. The poor thing has had way too much to deal with lately. I hope she finds a new job soon and with minimal effort.

Much ~ma to all the crampy and PMSy bitches.

My seasonal depression seems to have kicked in hard this year. It was later than I expected, and I almost thought I was going to avoid it this year. I'm looking for a hole to crawl into.

Librarian Warlord

Cold ~ma, Kristin, and PMS, DuringMS and PostMS ~ma to everyone and their cars.

My seasonal depression seems to have kicked in hard this year.

When I lived in Seattle, the natives -- okay, one native -- used to tell me that all I had to do was get outside. That there was actually plenty of light outside to fight it off if I would only go out into the grey drizzle.

All of our students have checked their Palms/Treos and discovered that they have less than a month to write those papers they've been putting off and they're all beginning to panic.
