vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

As repayment for the crap with my car today, Wednesday night TV gave me two awesome gifts: tickets to the David Boreanaz gun show, and Nathan Fillion in a cop uniform and shirtless .

Now if only some 30,000 votes would magically swing toward Jim Webb in Virginia...

This is what I said last night, and then it HAPPENED! WHOOOT!

Are you related to Randy [my last name], R, Texas, who won the District [#] House race?

Hee. I was kinda wondering that too, Lee!

Wish I'd watched TDS/Colbert last night, but at least I went to bed happy.

the South Dakota abortion ban should go down

Fuck YEAH to this, and to at least Arizona not voting away gay marriage. YEAH to Northern Virginia going way against the gay marriage ban...sadly, didn't make up for the rest of Virginia, but the big spread did make me happy for the DC area, if nothing else.

Where did the phrase "Blue Dog Democrat" come from? I never heard it before yesterday or today....

Heh. One friend I was watching with refused to continue watching the channel that used that phrase, she was so annoyed that it wasn't the traditional "yellow dog democrat". I told her I'd be MORE likely to vote for a blue dog. After all, yellow ones are so common. Interesting to know it's a real phrase!! I've emailed her about it...

Like, say you sent your BigBoss a letter giving notice, and he responded that he "does not accept." Um, okay?

I have to admit, i kinda love the Brenda's office soap opera!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Virginia will definitely go Dem. I don't think there's ever been a recount that made up that amount of difference.

I'm freakin' tired after adventures in nuts and bolts Democracy followed by nuts and bolts Restraining Orders topped with a generous portion of arsenic hour crying baby.

Lee E. Goodman, chief counsel for the Republican Party of Virginia, said the GOP is concerned about a number of glitches involving new touch-screen computer voting machines.

"There were many machine breakdowns reported yesterday and that means there was probably more paper utilized in the election yesterday than we're used to traditionally," Goodman said

I'll bet.

Suddenly the Republicans don't trust the machines? The hypocracy never stops.

Funny. VA has a better record of overseeing votes than say, I dunno, Florida? Plus independent commission, not a Harris clone.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, I know this was now a while ago, but!

I do not have a hotel for Africa and no one is getting back to me!

Dude, my coworker got negged by a hotel in Guatemala for SUNDAY. And she still got a room just fine. OK, it was like $10 more than the other one, but still.
