I'm afraid the new twist in House is boring me already. Please, as if House is going to do time. I am not interested in this cop who needs to prove his balls are bigger than House's. Is House supposed to learn something? I liked the twist Foreman, that was fun, that was believable. What they're planning is just everything I hate about modern cop shows, "I'm macho, I'm throwing my weight around, see my power, see my dick." Bah.

House: I swear, I've read this fic. 15, 20 times. I'm not sure how it ends non-slashy, and I don't think that's just the fic talking.
I don't want to see it ending up as friends, I want it to end up with Macho!Cop, who's obviously stalking House, on a table with House having to save his butt. House went to far, but Macho!Cop is so far just a stereotype.
Most of my street is really popular but I'm in the dark area on a curve, so no one was going to come here. Along the street though people set up tables and chairs in their yards (with their houses decorated) and have stuff for parents and adults.
Because no one was going to come to me I went to them and kept saying "I'm the Mobile Treater! I bring the candy to you!" Some adults thought it was funny and I got to meet some neighbors.
There were tons of trick or treaters because the neighborhood is so popular that people come from all over so I ran out of candy very quickly. I got frustrated because I had a Mom just grab a handful of candy after her kids had gotten some. I tried to explain that this was for kids only.
And there were teenagers out, but I ran out of candy by then. Some of them were dressed up and some weren't a lot of the girls were dressed very hoochie.
I saw a Frodo and a hobbit. Frodo said I was the only person who recognized him. There was a monkey who's baby sibling was dressed as a banana and another monkey whose parents were dressed in safari clothes. Assorted princesses. A vampire queen, various Jedis and Clone war characters. And a baby who looked just like Lillian! It was shocking to turn around and see her!
Next year I'm going to do the "mobile treater" thing again, but I'll dress up like the Candy Fairy and give candy out to all the costumes I like.
I hung out with Mom's neighbors and talked for awhile and a group of teenagers came by, I didn't get a chance to ask who they all were but the guy had blue fairy wings, blue clothes and a blue face. I have no idea what he was supposed to be.

In actual posting news, I spent the evening taking in The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D. Always a treat of a movie. And it had the Pixar short Knick Knack in 3D tacked on the front! There were some teens in various costumes, and I complimented a drag princess on his shoes.
I saw the silent version of Phantom of the Opera, with live organist. Lots of fun. In terms of how well they got the feeling of the book, I felt like this was a lot better than the musical. The phantom was actually scary.
We had six clumps of kids. The best costumes were a family of vampire - Mom, Dad and two kids - standard capes and fangs, decent quality black wigs, and really good makeup to give them convincingly pale skin. Except for infant in Dads arms who was dressed as a lil Devil instead.
What you didn't realize was the baby was the only one actually in a costume.
We had only one group of Torters, but there were a lot of them. Our neighbor's two kids had the best costumes. The five year old boy was R2D2 and his two year old little sister was C3PO. Nothing cuter than a gleefully giggling tiny girl beaming at you through the hole in a robot costume.
The DH is away in Vegas at a car show and I am slumming and watching Dancing With the Stars. It's a Halloween-themed show, with lots of cheesy costumes and melodramatic numbers. I'm loving it.
