This is the first year in a while that I won't be going to any non-work parties, which makes me a little sad, but not too much.

If you think about it, this is kind of a legitimate complaint, don't you think? Okay, at least Romeo looked at the body of Juliet, and touched it, and verified it was cold. But really, if he'd procrastinated just a few more minutes -- !

But the world of fiction would not turn if people did not jumpt o hasty conclusions; or anyway the world of thrillers certainly would not.

Apparently the Victorians were big on revising the Bard to make his tragedies end happily. The Apothecary was too nice, and mixed up something that just tastes like poison! Romeo wakes up just in time to stop Juliet stabbing herself! Wait, look, Tybalt was just sleeping!!

I guess Halloween is very big at the firm-- there's a costume party, with prizes and all that. I think Tiara, plus my Bling kitty skirt (that part x-posted with Bitches). I still need to find a good shirt though.

I hope no children come knocking on the door tonight, because it occurs to me that I have no candy at home.
