I found out this morning that Elvira, Mistress of the Dark will be the grand marshal at a racing event in Memphis this weekend. Yes people, the end is truly nigh, as NASCAR has discovered a promotion that is seriously tempting me to spend $50 to watch auto racing.

I had a nasty mozzarella sandwich for lunch with a nasty mostly-cabbage salad situation from the gross new place we keep ordering staff meeting lunches from. Annoying! I had to get popcorn after.

I keep forgetting to write about this - but it is the msbelle time of year around here. I drive home through some very twisty roads - and the first part of it is on the top of the ridge. this time of year there are some amazing sunsets. huge long bnads of coulds that grab all the colors. Last night was the second time that the whole world turnd a deep, bright , vibrant pink. msbelle sunsets.

If you work with kids, I'd say get one because they're little petrie dishes--and they can suffer more from the effects of the flu if you pass it on to them.
This. I've gotten free flu shots from school every year but the time they had that massive shortage a couple of years back. I get mine this Friday. Also, ftr, I hate needles, but the flu shot needle is eensy and not very long, so it really barely hurts.
