Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

A lot of my favorite funny things aren't supposed to be funny. Which is where a lot of the Angel quotes come in. And also a lot of Dawson's Creek stuff.

Oh, and Sheena! "I love you so much, it busts my heart." Genius.

What is even happening?

Many moons ago, on the Bronze, there was a whole debate about the body temperature of vampires. I can't remember the whole thing I posted but I know it involved Angel, an ice bath, a bottle of Magic Shell and how long it would take to create a chocolate covered cocksicle.

You mean a ****sicle?

I'm pretty sure I used fake tags to get around the filter.

Oh, I forgot about that. I think I learned about that with Colorado.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Congrats Jessica!

Happy Birthday to Kate P. and RL!

I had a great time at OVFF. Lots of good music, lots of good friends. Also, I bought a bunch of books and a red kimono. There are probably incriminating pictures of me and the other wenches up on the web already...

Always Anti-fascist!

Ok...sort of glad I bailed on Studio 60 for Olbermann.(Special Comment. Love them. And he is not Howard Beale, damn it.) My favorite Sorkin is Sports Night, hopefully not because my viewing of WW has been haphazard.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Dory speaking "whale" in Finding Nemo

Owen tries to speak Whale. The first time he did it, I nearly pissed myself laughing.

We recorded Studio 60 but have yet to watch it. I just caught up with Doctor Who this afternoon.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I just caught up with Doctor Who this afternoon.
I was madly enthralled with some bits of this episode. I think I need a rewatch to figure out why.

Oh, me, too! I had to start a rewatch immediately. But then the kids got up from their nap. Dammit. I got as far as "I'm The Doctor and I just snogged Madame De Pompadour! Bwhaha!" It killed me dead.

Because books.

I just saw my very first bit of (any) Dr. Who the other night (aside from a vague memory of the 70s Doctor with freaky big hair) -- the one at Versailles, with Madame du Pompadour. I was fascinated -- and then I got interrupted. But I'm feeling like I may need to get on the Dr. Who train.

Like I need another show.
