Most people is pretty quiet right about now. Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, the urge to, you know, do stuff. Like work out, run around, maybe get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's a conundrum.
No it's not! The flatware stockings are obviously too cute not to get.

When you're racing - it's life. Anything that comes before or after is just waiting.

Do I need the snowman place-mats and napkins [link] OR the flatware stockings [link]. It's a conundrum.

Now, that's just torture. Though, I can just remind myself that my residence starting in January will permanently be 22' x 8' so I won't have the luxury of indulging in such house decor anymore. But, if I could indulge, I think I'd go for the flatware stockings.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Hoo.Ray. My dad called and offered to buy me a plane ticket home this winter!

So the money I've been socking away for plane fare can now be earmarked for nephew spoilage!

That's awesome!

DH knows me well enough to toss that thing into the recycling bin before I see it if he gets the mail.

Well, then! Thank goodness for the Internet.

The flatware stockings are obviously too cute not to get.

You know, I think I agree. I forgot that I already have snowmen place-mats. I'm not sure I need more.

Oh, and Allyson! Yay! Our family is, apparently, going to my brother and SIL's for Christmas. Mom and Dad said they'd buy my ticket, so Buffistas are being spoiled all around!

I was at Fontana when Greg Moore was killed in the CART race ('99? I don't want to google it.) and it was just horrible. Fenders make for a *lot* less chance of being hurt in a crash.

Yeah, I was right behind Bob Aiken when he crashed (he died a few hours later) at Road Atlanta in 2002 in a Nissan GTP car. After that, my dad sold the GTP cars. And, it really sealed the deal for no openwheel racing.

Nephew spoilage is the BEST. Yay dad!

at Road Atlanta in 2002 in a Nissan GTP car.
Yikes! No open wheel is a good family rule.

Does Road Atlanta still have that red, red clay soil everywhere? Our cars would start off white... Didn't so much end up that way.
