For style or safety?
Safety. My parents saw a guy get killed at Mid-Ohio in the early 70s, and ever since House Rules say no open-wheel racing.
Obviously, you're in the Portland races. From the guys I know who race ALMS and GrandAm, it's their least favorite track. I've never been there so I have no opinion. My new favorite track has to be Miller Motorsports Park outside Salt Lake City. However, the ALMS guys didn't have as much luck there.
And, if you ever make it to Sebring, be sure that you have a male companion. The infield is referred to as the Zoo, and to say the least, it verges on insanity. Wait, it actually is an insane place to be.
So...how about that Holiday Crate & Barrel catelog? Anyone else get that today? Oh, the pretty things! I see some peppermint bark in my future! And maybe some snowman kitchen decorations.

I am watching some LeMans Endurance Series recaps and the narrator is the same guy who does the Inside Grand Prix intro show for the F1 events. I want him to say "Allianz." Funny that I recognize his voice but have no idea who it is.
IO(not!racing)N, I just turned my heat on for the first time. Would rather have a fire but I have no firelogs currently. I only turned the heat on in my room which likely explains why the cats are in there.

I'm sure it's on its way (see I can appropriately use it's and its). And, when you get it, you can be stuck like I am. Do I need the snowman place-mats and napkins [link] OR the flatware stockings [link] It's a conundrum.

Not a bad rule. I was at Fontana when Greg Moore was killed in the CART race ('99? I don't want to google it.) and it was just horrible. Fenders make for a *lot* less chance of being hurt in a crash.

So the money I've been socking away for plane fare can now be earmarked for nephew spoilage!
I grew up with local, dirt track stock car racing and open wheeled sprints. Lots of beer and mud flying on a Saturday night. That being said, I'm indifferent to NASCAR and IRL on teevee. And I'm oblivious to F1 racing.
