Well, you'd better not be thinking what I think you're thinking, because my answer is the same as always — no threesomes unless it's boy-boy-girl. Or Charlize Theron.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

At least my unscientific survey about I-bankers says that pricks in suits are on the early trains and assholes in business casual roll in after nine.

Heh. I didn't notice the crowd being especially suit-ish, but this is why I need to do more leaving-at-5 research! Although, no way I'm getting in at 8. I didn't know there were people with office jobs in Manhattan who did that.

What are you supposed to do for a pulled muscle? Heat, cold, walk it off, what?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I love local radio productions. First a piece that was a ride along with a cynical cabbie, now a spoken word piece on Baltimoreness. And I'm pretty sure a piece on lisah's friend's new store. They almost always have a spoken word piece and they tend to be awesome.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

What sucks at TJs? Anything?

I really didn't like their frozen pierogies or the shelf-stable gnocci. The pierogies were a weird texture, and the gnocci tasted strange.

I love their frozen french onion soup, which is vegetarian.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Also rest and elevation.

I seem to have pulled a muscle in my left calf. It hurts like a hot knifey thing if I put any weight on the ball of my foot. It came on really suddenly -- I stepped down off a trolley, which was a normal stepping motion entirely and it seized up on me.

Compression? What should I do, wrap up the leg with an Ace bandage?

What is even happening?

Theo, have you tried flexing your toes?

The toes flex just fine, I can even move my foot up and down. It's any motion where I'd be putting weight on the ball of my foot, with the heel up in the air -- think of really high-heeled shoes.

I've never had this happen before! And it wasn't like I was doing anything terribly athletic these past few days to bring it on, just normal daily walking.

Ouch, Theodosia! I hope it gets better.

In other muscle-y news, I just pulled a ben-gay patch out of my closet and put it on my neck, but it mostly feels cold, not hot. Does that mean I've had it too long, or what? It feels kind of good, but not what I was expecting.
