This is always one of my workplace thrills.
I take my amusement where I can get it. Especially since I was subjected to a half-hour of standing right next to a boy who was awkwardly flirting with another girl on the train. I try not to give unsolicited advice while trapped in a metal tube, so I didn't say, "See that body language? It's saying 'let's just be friends' in ASSCAPS, dude."
Venture Bros was awesomeness.
yes, it was. I loved
I'll take the Taco-looking one
!
and a link, which is vaguely spoilery if you havent' seen it, but explains the comment if you didn't get it. [link]
Yeah, there were so many great lines. I also loved,
"I vasn't in the Stooges."
Also,
"The guy from Labyrinth turned into an eagle!"
or something....
Venture Bros. was pretty darn awesome last night. Dean's fantasy was cracking me up something fierce.
And it's been driving me mad trying to figure out why the voice of the Alchemist was so familiar, until I figured out it was the same guy who does Master Shake, and now I feel like a moron for having taken that long to realize it.
Seanie, I'm not ignoring the calls, I swear. Our landline died with all of our phone numbers in it. Grrr.
Email being flung at you hencely....
Now I'm earwormed with "Putting on the Ritz."

Okay, that line had me snorting with laughter.
And then I loved the whole scene where Brock
says to the Henchmen "I know I've kicked your asses in the past, but we have to work together now,"
and the
Henchmen reply with "I was asking for it," and "We love you, Brock Samson!"
Now I'm earwormed with "Putting on the Ritz."
Me too, except I'm earwormed with the version in
Young Frankenstein.
Which of course my brain ties back to a
Venture Bros.
episode. Huh.
Oh, was anyone reminded of The Tick on VB last night? I thought
Brock's costume and the way he was shot and animated were references.
