[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So cute!! GC, were you the one that had the link to the HK toaster the other day? The one that toasted the Kitty image on the toast. Verra cute.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

re: goth wedding.

I recommend some choices from Spain. Segura Viudas is a sparkling wine (cava) that comes in a very gothic looking bottle. Marques de Riscal is a red rioja that comes packaged in wire mesh.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Hee! I'm so glad the "costume" came together as well as it did, considering I was buying stuff separately and never actually had all the pieces together. I wasn't the one who posted the HK toaster, but I loved it!

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

First world complaint:

You know how many of you feel about gauchos? You don't understand them, you don't like the way they look, and you kind of feel sorry for anyone who wears them and thinks they look good? Well I feel that way about icicle lights. I despise them. I think they are tacky and ugly and lower the property value of your dwelling and all of the dwellings around you. When ND and I were house hunting this summer, we could practically gauge the crime rate by the icicle light to house ratio.

I'm sorry if you love them, and I assure you that I still love you despite your icicle lights much the way you love me despite my gauchos. But I would never ever force you to wear gauchos yourself, you know?

I came home from work, and it looks like the landlord's sweet, retired father left us a special early holiday surprise on the entire front of our cute little house. Guess what it is?

I could just cry.

Happy Birthday Ginger!

There's a phenomenal amount of buffista and buffistalet cuteness!

It's sweet that your landlord's dad wanted to do something he thought was nice for you, Kristin. But, yeah, decor is a pretty individual thing. Sorry. Maybe you could tell him your ecological beliefs prohibit decorative lighting?
