Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

Oz ,'Storyteller'

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I have Green & Black's Maya Gold bitter dark chocolate with orange and spices. Num. Trick or treaters don't get none.

Actually, we haven't had Trick or Treaters for years. Between the people who object on religious grounds and the parents who're afraid their kids might get snatched, or given poisoned candy, I think kids racing from house to house demanding protection money candy, "What's it gonna be? The candy, or your front window?" is a quaint custom of the past.

Awww, Beth, I thought you were The Blue Fairy! "Stop scooping up the field mice and bopping them on the head, or I'll turn you into a gooooon!"

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Am watching SNL. Don't love the show, but, despite head and neck attempting to kill me, am very smitten (again, always, whatever) with Hugh Laurie.

I'm getting the pig!

I *hate* that wig head feeling - that feeling like you still have the wig on after you've taken it off.

Fell asleep around 1am and woke up close to 4am. Slounged in bed flipping channels, hoping to get sleepy again, but no such luck. Bleh. This is much too early for a Sunday morning.

Which is more impressive: That Daniel scored a dryer for free, or that he managed to heft it into the basement by himself?

Wow! Seriously. Both are quite impressive.

My dishwasher has given in to me repeatedly pressing every button, and is now working again.

Yay, sj! I love easy fixes.

Um... I think I just heard a rooster outside. Odd. I don't think I've ever heard a rooster in this area before. And I just heard it again! And again!

Okay. Now I'm simply sitting here listening for a rooster and then updating my post. Incredibly lame. Possibly due to lack of sleep.

Our wings are not tired.

We have no roosters. Pretty noisy with birds in the morning at this time of year though. The parrots and doves are the only ones I can identify by sound. Lots of seasonal birds that have fled the cold north too. And I could hear them because I slept with the windows open again. Whee! 3 days in a row. Will need to close up soon because it is already getting warm.

I didn't mean to be up this early. I thought it was 8:30 so I got up to make coffee and do a few chores before watching my morning tv show. I finally plopped down on the sofa ready to chill and it was 8:00 not 9:00. This is the first time that I have ever FORGOT the time change. This is like my favorite day of the year and I missed it!
