I don't care if it is an orgy of death, there's still such a thing as a napkin.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

PC, I will second what Fred Pete says, right across the board.

Because books.

Anne, you rassenfrassen Cardinals fan congratulations! I am incredibly sad this morning, but hey, you can't win if you don't fucking hit the ball.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Welcome back FP! I'm glad you had such a great time in Amsterdam. I knew you would!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Oh, we did, SA! Plus a one-day excursion into Belgium. (Though the train trip to Alkmaar was interesting, not least because tracks were closed because of an accident, and we couldn't take a direct route.)

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

And you seriously can't beat crepes with nutella made right in front of you while it's snowing.

I think I just had an orgasm. Mmmm.

Even with the drug induced nap yesterday, I slept last night and feel much more human today. At least so far.

Fiscal responsibility is a good thing. Maybe one day it will be a concept I understand better.

Suzi is me. And yay for feeling human.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Also, now I want a Pumpkin Latte.

Me too! Which is precisely why I drifted into a Starbucks just now. But they're not doing the Pumpkin Spice Latte anymore, afaik - it was a short time flavour-of-the-month thing (my friend, when I was saying how yummy it was, could NOT get over her revulsion. Try substituting the word zucchini for pumpkin to get a sense of the sheer fucking randomness of that flavour, from a nonUSAian perspective). Which means that I stared blearily at the array of things on offer, realised I didn't really want any of them, and that buying a latte, after 4 espresso Martinis and two pints of Diet Coke, might be suicide, and instead purchased a hazelnut hot chocolate.

Except that these days I have a really hard time drinking sugar. It makes me feel headachy and nauseated quite quickly. (Thus the whole Pumpkin-Spice-Latte - drinking-experience normally goes yum yum yum yum oh shit bleagh!)

Hmph. Am idiot. Also a trifle wellied and jittery. Also typing this from school, as I ducked into the building on the way home from the pub to make shameless use of the internet, and to avoid the get-into-a-cab-and-spill-molten-chocolate-on-self experience.

Hmph.

Have spent the past 5 hours in pub with NotDavidHewlett and Mrs NotDavidHewlett (who is fucking lovely) and a couple of other coworkers. Continue to have moderate (and quite different) crushes on NDH and Mrs NDH.

Sigh.

Possibly I need to get out more.
