'Why We Fight'

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

They are cute, aren't they?

So, the time wasn't wasted, just put to a different, but equally healthy, use.

A very good use of time. And it sounds tasty, too.

Librarian Warlord

Sorry, vw, it's not me. However, if you ever need a civil or naval engineer, or a math professor, I'm your gal.

ChiKat, those are great shoes.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I'm off to get the new kitty!!!

Pictures will be posted this eve!

Hopefully, he'll look at me and say, "My name Switch." Cause that's what his name is.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Meds-getting~ma for vw.

ARGH. I just have an awful awful feeling about this weekend.

Of course, first today I got to have a meeting with my boss where I was told I need to be more on point, more involved, that I'm not contributing, and I need to spend less time online. Urgh.

Then I get told the corset I ordered is not arriving today like planned, so I won't have it for the weekend (I leave tomorrow)...I had planned my Saturday night must-look-fabulous-for-the-ex around it, and now I have NOTHING. AAAAAAAAGH.

I just have this awful feeling that my flight will be cancelled and they'll lose my bags and I'll get there and feel like everyone hates me (or at least that no one loves me) and will end up running off to a stairwell to feel sorry for myself.

This is not a good way to go into things. ARGH.

Thanks, Sparky!

And, thanks, WindSparrow. I'm not to a ~ma stage quite yet. I'm in the don't-fuck-with-me-you-don't-know-what-you're-getting-into stage. I have great confidence that it will be effective.

It's NEW KITTEN DAY!!

Am v. jealous! I wanna play with a kitten!!

HUGS bitches and b.org. NEVER LEAVE ME AGAIN.

Heh. I was happy to see the postings on LJ that it was down, because that meant less temptation to visit during the workday...

How to stress: Have an interview for a prestigious job that occurs on the second day of your employment.

Wait, an interview for a different job, on your second day at a new job? Wow! good luck!

YOU CAN'T SPAY A MALE CAT

Hee. Name it RuPaul! Ooh, or as Lisa said, Miss Jay!!

Thanks so much for all the good wishes - I had a great time in the States.

YAY, married Jars!

Good luck with the meds, VW! Sadly, I am not hooked into Genentech.

He said that Genetech doesn't have a patient access program--a program run by the pharmaceutical company that makes medications available to those who can't afford them. And they do. It's right on their website.

I could let it slide in a he-didn't-know kind of way, but he was so certain about it. He didn't say, "I don't think so, but I'll look into it." He said, "No. They only do that during trials. Once Xolair was approved, all they cared about was getting their money."
