[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It's NEW KITTEN DAY!!

Am v. jealous! I wanna play with a kitten!!

HUGS bitches and b.org. NEVER LEAVE ME AGAIN.

Heh. I was happy to see the postings on LJ that it was down, because that meant less temptation to visit during the workday...

How to stress: Have an interview for a prestigious job that occurs on the second day of your employment.

Wait, an interview for a different job, on your second day at a new job? Wow! good luck!

YOU CAN'T SPAY A MALE CAT

Hee. Name it RuPaul! Ooh, or as Lisa said, Miss Jay!!

Thanks so much for all the good wishes - I had a great time in the States.

YAY, married Jars!

Good luck with the meds, VW! Sadly, I am not hooked into Genentech.

Holy shit. My doctor flat-out lied to me. He is so on the list.

vw, how did he lie?

He said that Genetech doesn't have a patient access program--a program run by the pharmaceutical company that makes medications available to those who can't afford them. And they do. It's right on their website.

I could let it slide in a he-didn't-know kind of way, but he was so certain about it. He didn't say, "I don't think so, but I'll look into it." He said, "No. They only do that during trials. Once Xolair was approved, all they cared about was getting their money."

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I gotta say, I find it hard to see a reason for lying about it. I am right/you are wrong because I am The Doctor assholishness, for sure though.

ETA: Which may well be more than enough reason to dump his ass.

Well, damn, vw. I think you need to give your doctor a stern talking to.

The whole thing is just weird. I wrote more about it in my LJ, so I won't bore everyone here. But, basically, the administration has decided that they're not going to work with Medicare, but they're also not going to refer their Medicare patients (there are five of us in this same situation) to someone who will work with Medicare. It's an ego mess, and quite frankly, I'm sick of it. I deserve a certain level of care and respect. And I'll fight for it.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I suck like a sucky thing that sucks. It is a first world suck, but still.

Missed paying the cable bill with all the drama around here. Saw the late notice, so I wrote a check and dropped it in the mail slot this morning at 6am.

Cable is off, internet is working by some miracle and they can't fix it until tomorrow.

And Suzi, you do not suck. Things have been totally crazy. Things fall through the cracks. It'll be ok.

Herding cats for fun

I didn't think it was that hard to sex kittens, but it must be.

That's so funny. I've always been able to ID kitten sex at a glance. Well, unless there was a lot of fuzz. Haven't been wrong so far, anyway. So I don't understand how anyone could have such a problem with it.

I could just have a flower to stick in the gun of war. The way the hippies stopped the Vietnam war.

Heee.

Sent nice Letters of Thanks to Job #2. Had to find address for HR Rep on the net, but fortunately, as Betsy has said, Google is a mighty fortress. They'd be good, they have more $$ than #1. I dunno if they'd be as nice, though.

Sophie plays fetch! She figured out that if she brings me a toy, I will toss it for her and she gets to race after it. Her favorite toy right now is a pipe cleaner, and she trots purposefully around the house with her prey clutched in a mighty grip. So much fun! Gracie is growling at her right now, and that's not so FG.
