Maybe a hand-held tape player with the song "War, what is it good for", or even just the chorus.
hah! Having to hear that over and over and over and over again would cause me not to be very peaceful!
Oz ,'First Date'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always gotta have your music with you.
da nananananananana naaaa!
I could just have a flower to stick in the gun of war. The way the hippies stopped the Vietnam war.
day-glo peace sign?

High-fives Vortex!
Tell me it's okay to skip my yoga class today because I have gas. Boy, howdy, do I have gas. Not deadly, but not silent either.
Sail. It's okay.
Interestingly I was about to come in here and post musingly about maybe joining a yoga class, but you swept the words right out from me.
Mini-dove bars for the anti-War weapon!
I love yoga. That is all.
Okay, what the hell, you guys? I thought Massachusetts was cool.
But these guys have banned playing tag at recess. And they're not the first.
We are so not cool and never have been. This is Liberal Overdrive Land. And let me state loudly and clearly that liberal is not a dirty word in my vocabularly. At all. But there's truth to some stereotypes of liberals, and most examples are in ample supply, here Massachusetts.
Not only have they banned these recess "chase" games (in Attleboro, MA) but those people arguing about it on the Boston Globe message boards are blaming Bush. Now, I can get behind a good Bush blame session, but we needn't CREATE reasons. We've been given plenty to work with.
I just bought these shoes in chocolate suede. It's more than I ususally spend on shoes, but dear me! They are so cute!
ChiKat, those are incredibly cute.
SA, I love my yoga class, as long as it's one particular instructor. We've had a different one for this session and it's been easy to skip. Hee.
Instead, I came home and made a huge bowl of salad to last me 3-4 days, diced up an avocado to use as garnish in soups and salads, and hard boiled 8 eggs for various uses. Trying to eat healthier and I've been too lazy to do these kind of things on a daily basis. I find it much easier to do it if I do it all at once. So, the time wasn't wasted, just put to a different, but equally healthy, use.
I need some very specific help. I'm being denied a very powerful, fairly new asthma medication called Xolair. I am pretty sure that someone on the board has a friend or relative who works for the pharmaceutical company that makes Xolair (Genetech). I think it may be beth b or Sparky. Could whoever that is please get in touch with me? I need to figure out how to fight this, because I'm getting very little help from my specialist.
