My Florida sister was scheduled to fly north to visit NY family in Otter Lake tomorrow night. She called JetBlue about the storm stuff and they changed her for free to a flight tonight. Yay! J hasn't been up there in 5 years and my sister and mother have no idea she is coming. They will be so delightfully surprised. She is a very large woman and has recently lost 30lbs. I think it has helped her confidence a lot. I'm thrilled to see her travel.
I am TCG with my old clothes. I hate to throw stuff away. Working on it though.

I am the opposite. I am happy to either give away clothes or throw them away (depending on what condition they're in) because it means there's more room for new stuff.
I share your Ernesto worry. My schedule's been revamped and I'm working straight for the next seven days at least, with 11-hour-days starting on Friday. (I do tech support for a damage estimation software company.) I am not pleased. At least I get overtime.
Here's hoping Ernesto peters out.
Many Happy Returns of the Day, Jen & Meara!
Gronk. I feel like I need to be steeped in a vat of very strong coffee. Caffiene by ingestion is not working.
Yay, Calli!!!!! Congrats!!!
Oh, Jiiiiiiiiiiilllllllllliiiiiiiiiiii...
The high-flying ingredients in our kit include Scharffen Berger 41% milk chocolate bats; premium bat-shaped graham crackers made with whole-grain graham flour, molasses and organic honey; and plump handmade marshmallows. It all comes packaged in a box tied with orange and black paper ribbons
Congratulations, Calli!
Happy birthday and a glorious year to Jen and meara!
Other than that, I got nothin' but gronk. Though I'm at least marginally better off than Emmett, who is huddled on the couch in a lump of depression over it being the last day of summer. Hec is trying to prod him into some kind of activity lest he waste his entire last day being depressed over it being the last day, but so far it isn't working.

Oh, lordy. 30+ years on Emmett and this is still something I'd do.
And, also, thanks!
