Very convincing. Makes me completely want to put myself under government control. Please take me to where you can make me unconscious and naked.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Holy crap, Jars is so pretty!

No kidding. Woof.

Meow! She looks sorta like a friend of mine, actually, down to the interesting hair.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Cashmere, thanks for the translation and the link.

ION, I just poured boiling water on my hand while trying to make coffee for Teacup Guy, so I have decided I need a little more sleep.

and should i be looking at a mattress warming pad instead?

Ooooo...I LOVE mine (well, actually Emily's, but I'm not telling her I still have it). I should get it out soon. It's just getting to when I might like it.

Definitely more sleep.

ION, I am snot-filled and blech. Stupid code. And I have SO much to do. Gonna have to plug through it, even though all I feel like doing is watching Veronica Mars DVDs (big Veronica/Logan kiss in last night's episode. Must! Know! What! Happens! Next!)

Steph, got your e-mail. YOU ROCK! Will respond shortly.

OMG! I just went to the bathroom and left Toto curled up on the couch. When I came back out, he was on his hind legs slurping MY COFFEE!

WTF?!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

In the middle of the night, mom's first night home, our dumb dog (Lee can affirm this fact) brought mom a bagel. No teeth marks. No slobber. Just - here, have a bagel.

More animal WTF.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Bagels are good. And love apparently...

Kittenish m'rowed at me for drugs. Junkie Cat's been shot. She didn't want food. I am going to skin her if she wakes me again before 10. Or, you know, grumble, feed her and stumble back towards where the pillows live.

Oh, from a previous Bitchly meara:

Did anyone else read PS I Love You? The main character was a girl who wanted to be a romance novelist, and she, her sister, and her Mom went to do some house sitting in Palm Springs. Where she met a guy and there was romance! and turmoil!
askye, dude, I did. I am still trying to repress it but that book refuses to be denied. Though I can no longer recall the name of the guy who dies. Initials were PS though...

I swear it is because I grew up so close to Palm Springs... Oh damn do I hope that is why at least...

Do we have anything stronger than bleach around here? My brain is all discolored and icky.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I took today off work for my birthday. Now, my daughter is over here making breakfast for me. And she brought me flowers. I lurves my daughter. Oh! And she said she's going to be playing jammer on her roller derby team this year. So, now she's playing all three positions: blocker, pivot and jammer. So. cool.

I have managed to make tea without burning myself or causing any other major disasters. Go me!

I am having Teacup Guy's father and step-mother over for dinner tonight. I need to get moving soon, go to the market cook, etc. Please don't let this be a complete disaster.
