Or maybe you could just be Buffy, he'll see your amazing heart, and he'll fall in love with you.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, man, Steve Irwin's gone. Poor guy. His poor family! He was so amazing, he did everything with such enormous enthusiasm. He had more sheer joy in one day than I've probably had my whole life.

Our wings are not tired.

Don't like it.

My sympathies. We tried getting up at 5:45 to get Brendon to school on time, but we are going to have to roll it back to 5:30. I envy morning people. It is not my way.

{{Sean & S}} I hope it is a quick and helpful stay and that you both are able to get some rest.

Yay for Glamcookie in London. Hope GF feels better quickly.

Less angst, more booze!

Excellent idea.

{{Jessica}} Hope the tummy is better now.

ita, I was telling my friends about Marni and Krav Maga yesterday. A few of us were chatting (drinking) at my house and the discussion went to breast cancer. One GF is martial arts familiar because her father wrote a number of karate books. None of the women had ever heard of Krav before. They were all saddened be the loss of this woman they didn't know. Now GF is determined to find a Krav center here so she can find out more about it.

{{Steph}} I hope you and your dad get to enjoy your vacation.

Poor Steve Irwin's family. My kids were crazy about him. One would think it would be a preferable way to go for him, but not so much at 44. Sad news. Crikey!

I had a bunch of family and friends yesterday here eating drinking and being merry. MIL had given me a lovely BBQ cookbook and I tried a number of new receipes. Yum.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Beth, my parents and I are using The Not So Big House as a guide for the new cabins we're building up in Canada. There are some really good ideas in there.

Stomach bug is gone! I'm drinking tea and had pancakes for breakfast. Hooray for solid food!

All my vibes are belong to Sean, ita, and Tep.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for tea and pancakes.

I'm trying not to labor today. Maybe just a little house labor. DH went out fishing at 6am. Fish for dinner, again.

I have the The Not So Big House link open in another tab. Must look at it some more.

Elections here tomorrow. Must find the sample ballot. Bunch of primary stuff and judges. Too many people I never heard of. The governor and state senator primary races are about all I know a lot about. Looks like I have homework to do.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm considering bidding on this [link] . It's exactly the colors I've been looking for, and I like the stripes, but I'm a little wary of buying stuff like that from ebay, without being able to see and feel the fabric.

(edited because I'm an idiot.)

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Tep, I hope your dad is okay. That's no way to start a vacation. I'll be thinking of you. I'm glad Tom and Nora are there to help take care of you.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Fell asleep on the couch last night and now my back is not happy with me.

I think I figured why Irwin's death hit me so hard last night. While I live in a houseful of people, I was the only one who knew - I had no one to talk to - so thanks Aimee and PMM for sharing the late night mourning.

This morning DH is off golfing, CJ is going to get picked up by a friend in about an hour and K-Bug and Mom are going grocery shopping together. I will have the house to myself for a few - all ready squeeeing at the concept!

Pretty Hil. It looks like the seller has a good track record. They also claim a 14 day no questions asked return policy.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My sympathies. We tried getting up at 5:45 to get Brendon to school on time, but we are going to have to roll it back to 5:30. I envy morning people. It is not my way.

Thanks. I just took a nap because my brain wouldn't function and I have to write a paper today. Now I am starting my day over with a cup of tea. I think naps are the only way I am going to survive a 5:45 morning, at least until my body gets used to it. I spent too many years where my bedtime wasn't much earlier than that.

Stomach bug is gone! I'm drinking tea and had pancakes for breakfast. Hooray for solid food!

Yay!
