Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hey. New board.

I missed a kerfuffle and am... too drunk too understand what I've read, really. Is it serious enough that I should go back tomorrow, when sober?

If it helps, I'll happliy make out with anybody who's feeling upset. Mmm. Kisses are good. It might... require some movement. For somebody else. I probably can't leave NYC for a while since I have to start teaching on Tuesday.

Modest Mussourgsksy is good. I like piano.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Modest Mussourgsksy is good.

Is that related to Modest Mouse?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Is it serious enough that I should go back tomorrow, when sober?
It was serious. But also, hopefully, over.

Hope the morning fails to bring a hangover.

What is even happening?

Holy crap, Batman.

Can't sleep. Woke up at 3:45 am on the couch that did in my neck, a year ago. Didn't even kiss the kids goodnight. I nodded off watching The Hustler, a couple of minutes after 8.

Went to bed. Lunesta's ad. Has it all wrong. Ack. That aint no butterfly in my thoughts. Whatever it is flies faster, has much bigger wings, and it breathes fire. Sort of like you guys.

Scott had all the sheets. I could hear my mother snoring in the other room. When she stopped, Scott started. Then someone got up. I thought it was my mum but then I heard someone in the kids' room. Turns out mum was just checking on them. Then I had to tell her to turn her music down. Role reversal? Who signed me up for this?

I've just got this blackberry and I hate typing on it, but 0since I managed to wake Scott looking for it, and since the 75 posts in this thread were indeed wacky, but not the kind of wack I was hoping to read, here I am.

To the bitches who follow, think of this post as some Dadaist parsley, to cleanse your palate, cuz we eat our own. To those who went on before, I hope you're all okay, again.

Maybe I just came back wrong, but erika for president, victor for veep, and thessaly for all your couture needs.

This post brought to you by The Damn! I miss little bam bam Society, and only two of you will get that, so again I say, holy crap, batman.

t skipping hundreds of posts

I'm in London! Today I have seen the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and Trafalgar Square. I also went through the National Gallery, which was incredible. GF is sick and taking a nap. When she wakes up, I think we're going to Camden Market. Woot!!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Eat a muffin, whitey!

Every time I see something like a chocolate chip bagel, this runs through my head.

Yay, London! I wish I could walk into a pub this afternoon and order a pint of their best bitter. I hope the GF feels better soon. It's miserable to be sick on vacation.

Cindy, I'm impressed with your ability to create Dadaist parsley with your thumbs. Erika for president!

Oooh, London. I loved London. I want to go back to Harrods, just to walk through the coffin department. Surrreal.

Hope the GF recovers quickly, GC. How long are you two there for?

Yay London! You're just a couple hundred miles south of me, RIGHT NOW! I'm waving, can you see?

You must go to the British Museum. Mmm, stuff...

Poor GF caught my cold. It left me fairly quickly so I'm hoping she'll be better in a day or so. We're here until 9/10. I'm getting antsy to go do more, but GF is still sleeping.

Annoying thing: I can't seem to get mac.com to load. I need to check my email, dude!

ETA: We are totally going to the British Museum. Can't wait!
