Wesley: Feng Shui. Gunn: Right. What's that mean again? Wesley: That people will believe anything. Actually, in this place, Feng Shui will probably have enormous significance. I'll align my furniture the wrong way and suddenly catch fire or turn into a pudding.

No, it really really does not.

But he's lovely. And worth a little effort. And I kissed the HELL out of him. Shocked him nicely in a hydraulic fashion, tyvm.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Shallow clothing question:

I love the "skinny" jeans-tucked into boots-tunic look. However, am I too curvy for the "skinny" jeans? They are sooper tapered at the bottom and I'm afraid I'd look like a V from the waist down. (This is not a body image demon thing, just an I know my body shape thing and not sure I could be impartial enough to know it didn't look good on me since I love it so much. Jilli, quit flinching.)

Kinda like this outfit: [link]

Or this, but with the boots. [link]

So far September is not doing me any favors, though it hasn't tried to kill me yet.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I don't think that look flatters anyone who is not 12 years old or a size zero. But if you experiment, you should be able to find a jeans/boots/top combo that works for your body type.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Yeah, I'll just have to stick with my boot-cut jeans and boots. At least the tunic and belt will be cute, though.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

However, am I too curvy for the "skinny" jeans?

I think the key to making this look work with curves is to make sure the boots are slightly chunky (so you don't look like you're going riding, and avoid the V-shape thing), and that the tunic isn't too big and boxy. You don't want to look like you're only wearing the tunic to hide your ass, basically.

Personally, I've never found a pair of skinny jeans that fit me at all, because "skinny" seems to be interpreted as "has no ass" rather than "makes you look skinny." YJeanMMV.

Punishingly Intricate

However, am I too curvy for the "skinny" jeans?

Have you found skinny jeans that fit? Even if I wanted the look I don't think I could get truly skinny jeans over my hips. However, I was shocked to find that Ann Taylor Loft "slim" cut jeans in a size up from other jeans I've gotten there are pretty hot on me. But they do not have that skinny jean profile at all.
