Nothing but an excuse to stay home a couple days.
Really, is that such a bad thing?
I'm hoping we can get a day off tomorrow out of the remnants of Ernesto. I know it won't happen, but I can hope.
'Safe'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It was a great thing. I slept in since I didn't have to get the boy up at 5:45am. We should have not damaging type tropical storms more often.
Todd!
Oh Sweetie, what an adventure, eh?
While I have no lawyer skillz to offer, I'd certainly like to help if I can. If you don't have my number handy anymore, ping the profile addy and I'll be in touch.

b-that husband of yours is such a trouper. And so gracious. When we went out to dinner last night with him and Kristin and ND and Joe and Em, there was a Japanese restaurant that he was almost bouncing up and down to go to. However, I don't generally eat anything from China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, etc, so he and everyone else acquiesed. After giving me much shit, but ya know...
Kristin and ND were also very gracious, but they are used to my oddness.
Which restaurant, Aimée?
Zeque, I think in Pasadena. We ended up at Corner Bakery.
Toddson! Wonderful to see you back around the neighborhood. More recovery~ma and I think you shoud pretend your new boss is August.
IOmeN, eye checked out fine and they didn't have to shoot me full of dye. Instead, they used a fancy laser to take cross-sectional pictures of the retina. The wavelength of lasers is very eeny-teeny and they bounce them off the back of the eye. The pictures look like someone actually took your eyeball out and sliced it very thinly. And in color. Very cool looking.
