Which restaurant, Aimée?
'Time Bomb'
Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Zeque, I think in Pasadena. We ended up at Corner Bakery.
Toddson! Wonderful to see you back around the neighborhood. More recovery~ma and I think you shoud pretend your new boss is August.
IOmeN, eye checked out fine and they didn't have to shoot me full of dye. Instead, they used a fancy laser to take cross-sectional pictures of the retina. The wavelength of lasers is very eeny-teeny and they bounce them off the back of the eye. The pictures look like someone actually took your eyeball out and sliced it very thinly. And in color. Very cool looking.
That actually sounds like a really cool thing to see, Sail. I mean, as far as necessary procedures go. Very glad that everything checked out fine. Plus, very glad they didn't have to shoot you full of dye. That sounds unpleasant.
Toddson, I'm so glad you're back and doing well. I'm sorry your boss is being a bosshat.
and I will sue them into 2010. BRING IT.
I love Vortex.
Robin, didn't you have fibroids, before, or am I confusing you with someone else?
No, I do, Cindy. That's probably the cause of the yuckiness--but it was so much worse than "normal" that I thought I would visit the hivemind. Maybe it was the magic of posting here, but I feel a bit better this afternoon, so I am encouraged that the worst has passed.
Toddson! I'm glad you're back and doing well. And I'm also glad that Vortex is willing to be all fiercely lawyer-y for you.
Robin, remember that it's a muscle as well, so make sure that you're taking care of that, like getting plenty of water and nutrients. When i had really bad cramps, sometimes a big glass of water or gatorade did the trick. or at least made them bearable
Maybe it was the magic of posting here, but I feel a bit better this afternoon, so I am encouraged that the worst has passed.I'm glad to hear that. A call to the doctor is still probably a good idea, just because.
After I had the babies, I was quite a bleeder. Fully saturating a pad per hour was the when-to-call standard the doctor gave me.
You're probably already taking it, but if not, I know the nurse at my OB practice said Ibuprofen "clamps down" on the uterus. Now, I never quite got the "clamps down" bit, but her point was it helps slow the bleeding. 600mg - 3 times a day, or 800mg 3 times a day, taken with food (and milk, I say),
Is today the day Teppy, billytea, Cashmere, etc., went to the zoo?
