EXCELLENT! Now you know why I bring my duck to the bar, too.
And I have to repeat what I know I've told ya'll before but my friend's boyfriend IS the Stunt Cock!
Fans of this past season's Wire should check out the series on the football program in a westside highschool that the Sun is running this week.

Hey, Edmonson. Isn't that where Bunk and Omar went to high school?
Rome -- what an episode! Vorenus makes a really scary gang lord. That was a mess just waiting to explode. And Cicero's kiss-off of Anthony rocked. But I really enjoyed the scene of Brutus, divesting himself of his foreign clothes, seeking his own gods even far from his homeland.
And much the same, Pullo's faith is just beautiful. He goes where the gods tell him to, and look what he finds. I have so much love.
Of course, now I'm on pins waiting to see if Attia actually dies, and what happens when Pullo finds Vorenus in Gaul!
Is that what Brutus was doing? I didn't really understand that bit.
I can't remember, does Vorenus have a connection to Octavian or is he an Antony man all the way?
ooh I just spoiled myself a bit on Rome by looking up Agrippa! darn history.

I want to go back 15 years and yell at my Western Civ prof, "NO SPOILERS!"

I think he was looking to get a new start, and he sought out a baptism and his own gods to do it. Either way, it was a powerful scene.

He was always Antony ( and Caesar's) man. Pullo had the connection to Vorenus, as they had mutual interests for awhile--Antony hired him to teach Octavian how to fight, and Octavian and Pullo conspired to have Vorenus' brother in law killed. Now that Vorenus has followed Antony to Gaul, and Pullo is following, it will be interesting to see if they both end up on Antony's side or Octavian's.
Damn spoilers! I've forgotten the finger points of Agrippa's role, and I almost wikied him but decided I'd rather be reminded by suprise.
I can understand how they can't afford this show, though. Every single scene is beauty.
