This is so nice. Having everyone together for my birthday. Of course, you could smash in all my toes with a hammer and it will still be the bestest Buffy Birthday Bash in a big long while.

Oh, and I'm about halfway through the second season of the Wire. Loving it! I don't have anything to say about it, really, but Gah! So Good! But I'm getting more of y'all's references.

And I have to repeat what I know I've told ya'll before but my friend's boyfriend IS the Stunt Cock!

Fans of this past season's Wire should check out the series on the football program in a westside highschool that the Sun is running this week.

Hey, Edmonson. Isn't that where Bunk and Omar went to high school?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Rome -- what an episode! Vorenus makes a really scary gang lord. That was a mess just waiting to explode. And Cicero's kiss-off of Anthony rocked. But I really enjoyed the scene of Brutus, divesting himself of his foreign clothes, seeking his own gods even far from his homeland.

And much the same, Pullo's faith is just beautiful. He goes where the gods tell him to, and look what he finds. I have so much love.

Of course, now I'm on pins waiting to see if Attia actually dies, and what happens when Pullo finds Vorenus in Gaul!

Is that what Brutus was doing? I didn't really understand that bit.

I can't remember, does Vorenus have a connection to Octavian or is he an Antony man all the way?
