"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Theo,

I am actually thankful for that.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Margaery's marriage to Renly was annulled because it was unconsummated (to noone's surprise) so there'd be no doubt in anyone's mind that this marriage was annullable as well. Plus, Tywin has a bigger army.

I suppose, logically, Tommen inherits the crown, and Cersei continues to be Queen Regent, with Tywin (and his large army, did I mention that?) as Hand.

Because books.

Oh, Tommen! I forgot about him.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I saw him at the table during the reception, and I can't tell if the original kid grew up a lot or if they've recast him. (Tommen in the book is 8 years old, Tommen in the show looks closer to 12.)

Speaking of long-offscreen Lannister babies, any bets on whether we see Myrcella ever again? She's been mentioned once in every ep this season, but I still have my doubts about whether we'll actually see Dorne or just hear stories.

Can women inherit the throne?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Not unless every single male they are related to is dead, IIRC. This is not true for every House or subkingdom, particularly not Dorne.

Right, that's what I thought. Thanks, -t!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Jaime: You will never EVER marry my sister.
Loras: And neither will you.

Awww yeah.

This.

There was literally not a nanosecond wasted where he was not being the maximum amount of a dick that it is possible to be.

Also, this

Cersei is about to go off the deep end in a major way and it is going to be glorious.

Further, THIS

In a logical world (aka one not run by Lannisters) it would be pretty clear that he didn't poison that cup of wine
and
Tyrion gains nothing with Joffrey dead.

I'm pretty sure Captain Logic is not helming the Red Keep at this particular moment. It's entirely possible that he's taken the lifeboat and started rowing for Anywhere Else.

I think Margery technically is the Queen, since she and Joffrey were married (for a few minutes) before he died.

Nope. She (like Cersei, only moreso, since she's not anyone's mother) has basically no status at this point.

Tommen

Has been recast. With one of the actors who played a Lannister cousin who Karstark killed last season (thus leading Robb to take his head)

Speaking of long-offscreen Lannister babies, any bets on whether we see Myrcella ever again?

I've been debating whether I think we'll go to Dorne. I mean, we've talked about it a lot, but I don't know that I see them adding another location (with new characters) at this point, unless there's really no choice. Is there no choice, George? Do they need to go to Dorne for Plot?

Not unless every single male they are related to is dead, IIRC.

I think sisters inherit before uncles, even in the main of Westeros (so, it would go to Myrcella before Stannis, execept for the whole "not actually Baratheons" thing).

This is not true for every House or subkingdom, particularly not Dorne.

You mean the place where she just happens to be right now?

Coincidence?

Women can inherit before their brothers in some Houses, and before their uncles generally, but not the Iron Throne (unless that only applies to Targaryens, which could be since it was put into effect after the original Dance of Dragons).

That's book rather than TV canon, of course, so could be out the window, I suppose.
