You're right -- I just remembered we don't see the battle in the book.
Jason Momoa is very large. I can't imagine anyone else playing Conan anymore (even Jared).

Game of Thrones: A bunch of behind the scene videos for "The Pointy End."
Better quality version of the True Blood Sneak.
Game of Thrones: It's so hard to watch with S., now that I've finished the book, which he hasn't read. He's completely convinced that Ned will be saved one way or another, and that Drogo is going to be fighting the Lannisters, with the Starks' help or something,
and I'm just sitting there biting my lip.
Apparently watching years of Whedon and Minear with me have taught him nothing.
Ha.
I'm not happy that they left out the part where Sansa tipped off the queen. That seemed kind of important.
Lena Headey is so perfect as Cersei! She makes me want to walk up and smack her in the face in almost every scene she's in.
And Jason Momoa... he's captivating!
Well, it would have further shown how selfish and heedless Sansa was but I'm sure if the Hand is packing up and leaving: that's a bit difficult to hide.
I suspect the Sansa deal will come up later, there's plenty of time to beat up Sansa for being so ignorant and betraying her family
Yes. In the book we didn't know about it until after the fact.
Now that I've read the book, I can see how much they're skimming over, and last night especially seemed to pack in a lot of shorthanded scenes. Which is not to say I didn't enjoy it, just that I'm glad I started reading the books, too.
