I'm not happy that they left out the part where Sansa tipped off the queen. That seemed kind of important.
Lena Headey is so perfect as Cersei! She makes me want to walk up and smack her in the face in almost every scene she's in.
And Jason Momoa... he's captivating!

further shown how selfish and heedless Sansa was but I'm sure if the Hand is packing up and leaving: that's a bit difficult to hide.
I suspect the Sansa deal will come up later, there's plenty of time to beat up Sansa for being so ignorant and betraying her family
Yes. In the book we didn't know about it until after the fact.
Now that I've read the book, I can see how much they're skimming over, and last night especially seemed to pack in a lot of shorthanded scenes. Which is not to say I didn't enjoy it, just that I'm glad I started reading the books, too.
On the other hand - non p.o.v. characters come to life more. And I think that simultaneity of the action is more apparent.
Oh, I agree, I just love how much detail and *world* I've gotten through the book.
