"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I'm not sure I thought they were boring (but I guess I need to read my old posts!) - but I did feel that it was repetitive without leading to new information.

I'll be interested to get your opinion, Matt. I'm sure compressing the viewing schedule will have some effect.

I'm currently reading Club Dead, the third book, since I realized I had missed it entirely in my skipping around the series, and just finished re-reading the first one (I idly read the first chapter and realized I had forgotten a lot, so I kept going). I was surprised at how much True Blood had kept the same the first season, it had seemed so different while I was watching.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I had a hard time finishing the first book because it was so much like the first season.

i've also realized i've forgotten a LOT about the books. a friend comes over every week to watch the episodes and we discuss the books too. so my plan is to re-read the books(minus the first one because i just don't think i can do it again).

I skipped the second one because I remember not liking it much and the parts of the second season I liked best were definitely big changes from the books, but I think I will end up reading through the series, too (only partially 'again', I know I've read some but not all and the titles are so similar it's hard to puzzle out which I've read and which I haven't...)

Kashi Go Lean: I really liked the most recent season of US of Tara. Loved the subplot with the daughter and the costumed heroine, though NSM with the subsequent cake-sitting etc. Hell yes the parents should be slapped... or arrested. My biggest quibble and squick was Max ditching Tara to have a toss with Joey Lauren Adam's Pammy. I think it was totally OOC for him and it pissed me off.

Is anyone watching this season of Hung? Is it worth tracking down?

Always Anti-fascist!

I think it's funny they went after the same woman, although Tara having sex as Buck kind of confuses me a little. I'm kind of shocked at Max, but I think overall it's good they dispersed the aura of granola perfection around him just a little, though I still love him. I watch Hung sometimes, but I'm not all that into it.

Oh my goodness, "You don't have your mask on" was just exquisite.

She is crazy, but she did give us the adorable LaLa nickname.
