Oh my goodness, "You don't have your mask on" was just exquisite.

wrod. His mother is crazy, but she can be very perceptive.
She is crazy, but she did give us the adorable LaLa nickname.
I could not get over Russell carrying around Talbot's strawberry jello remains in Waterford crystal. Holy cow. His platelets have definitely slipped off his cracker.
Jason really had his moment last season, didn't he? This season, I'm really not enjoying his storyline. At first, it was fun to hate him and his nekkid horndogness. Then, it was fun to cheer him on against the FOS crowd. Now? Yawn.
I was glad that Franklin got his, but it was a bit too quick and 'hand dusty' to me. The fact that is was at Jason's hands didn't add much...though, you gotta love the FOS for providing him with wooden bullets.
Actually, how is it that Jason had the gun with the wooden bullets so close to hand? Did he just leave it in his truck? I mean, the raid on Hotshot wasn't going to involve vampires, was it?
He got the gun and bullets out a couple episodes ago after he told Sookie he was going to kill Bill. Then he got distracted with the whole Crystal thing (but he had the gun in his truck from when he threatened Crystal's dad).
Man, this show needs to quit introducing awesome characters and then killing them off!
And Russell's last scene in the episode was riveting!

for real. I nearly died.

he literally chewed the scenery!
I love Russell Edgington. And that last scene was all kinds of extension. Especially the toss to the weather report. Hee! The vampire politics make for a much more entertaining uber-story arc than MaryAnne. I am loving it. Russell and Nan and the whole werewolf angle and the Authorit-ah.
I was completely unsatisfied with how the Franklin/Tara storyline ended. Tara should've been the one to get to kill him. And what's up with overly empathetic new waitress? She's got a creepy Black Hole Sun kind of smile. Too stretched out. I don't like the looks of her.
Hoyt and Jessica continue to break my heart in all the best ways.
I miss S2 Jason. Not that he's gotten any less awesome, but this storyline is not serving him well. I don't care about the Hotshot people. I have heard tell that the book Hotshot people are better/more interesting. Sadly, the TV Hotshot people just seem like huge time sucks thus far. Sam and his brother are getting slightly more interesting.
New waitress is way creepy.
I'm not sure I like OTT Russell (though the toss to weather was sweet), but vampire politics in general is pretty awesome. I was surprised and pleased that Eric told all to the Authority and whatsername - not that it was surprising for the character to do that, more that I didn't think that would be how the writers would want to go.
When I saw him doing that, I figured it was because we needed to know what Eric was up against.
Man, Pam acted the hell out of all of that didn't she?
