Oh, heartbreak. Poor Jessica and Hoyt. And Eric and Godric. And Sookie and Jason. Even Sookie and Bill. And Tara and the whole Tara clan. And beat down Andy Bellefleur and Naked Sam in that seedy motel. Yay, show! Excellently bringing the pain.

And I don't think it's just the stealing of the money - Maryanne has something big going for Sam.
I wonder if it isn't just that he left her? A god who thrives on the passion/love of their subjects can't be to happy that someone doesn't love them.
and how much did I love Lafayette kicking the shit out of Eggs? He might be wearing fake eyelashes, but he can still kick your ass.
I just thought of something -- if Mary Ann starts messing with Lafayette, does that mean that Eric will get involved? Eric might get a mite perturbed that someone's interfering with one of his. That could be VERY interesting.
Has Maryanne even interacted with a single vamp yet? If not, I wonder what's up with that. I wonder if that's why Hoyt hasn't succumbed yet, or at least since he started spending time with Jessica.

That was wonderful.
And beat down Andy Bellefleur
I'm kinda hoping it's him that eventually takes down/takes out Maryanne. Even if it's completely inadvertant/accidental, it would be such sweet justice.
I think that it will be him and Sam. I can see them trying to do research on the internet "well, how the fuck DO you spell maenad?"
I have a lot more respect for Sam now than I did last season. Sam really knows how to save his own ass REPEATEDLY. It's pretty impressive.
I don't know if he knew before that he could change into other shapes. First, he found out that what's her face could do more than one, and then when he was on the run, he saw the owl and changed without planning to. Now, he seems to just have to see the animal to change.
yes, he mentions it in the first season that he has to look at something in order to change and that other shapes aren't as easy for him to do.
looks like it is becoming easier for him, yes?

oh, I totally missed that. Maybe it's an adrenaline thing?
