Zoe: Is there any way I'm gonna get out of this with honor and dignity? Wash: You're pretty much down to ritual suicide, lambie-toes.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Plus, the stuff going on Dallas does not require comic relief, so her talents are held in reserve for Eric's return.

Eric really has mastered positive reinforcement with her: "You're right. Those were great pumps."

"We have trust issues." Mylar

All I know is that Pam's humans would never have been in cahoots with the FOS. You know she runs a tight ship.

Always Anti-fascist!

An lj friend sent me this Piven article...he does talk about Ari in it, but there are no spoilers. [link] I just thought, since there are other Piverts here, I'd share the love(or, really, cautious like, since that seems to be what the reporter has. I would say that someone should send me, but I'd be kidding myself that the interview would sound like anything but Chris Farley the fanboy "Remember Gross Pointe Blank That was *awesome*") as much as I like to think I'm a good interviewer and all that. I really do. No "True story," here...people like to tell me stuff. I don't know if the chair is disarming or if I have a kind face. Not that I've ever talked to anyone with a publicist, though.

In Treatment ... white font because you don't want to know a thing before you watch it

During my marathon viewing, Amy and Jake were the annoying Friday appointment I had to watch to be sure I didn't miss anything I’d need to know for Paul's Friday evening appt. with therapist Gina. Sophie was the intense center of the watching experience during the viewing, for Paul's intensely good therapy-izing plus excellent acting and story line all around. But think about it, Amy and Jake traveled a tough and ugly road, and experienced the most transformation. Josh Charles's Jake is a suspicious, stalkery, name-calling lug in the first session. Embeth Davidtz's Amy, almost unbearably prissy, is still understandable, and we can relate to her harsh comments about Jake. By the end, our experience of the two is nearly reversed. Our sympathy lies with Jake. He’s loves Amy, but won’t continue playing the role of a attacking thug in a play that isn’t his dream. Amy can’t, or won’t, give up a pattern that she thinks gives her power and control, and instead leaves her without anyone. If and when I re-watch the show, these will be the sessions to watch for the subtle writing and pretty spectacular acting on this particular journey.

eta add neutrality.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Almost thought Sookie was in bed naked with Jason.

Godric and Eric, you motherfuckers, breaking my heart like that.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

*sniff!*

Ahem, allergies.

I will miss Gordric, though I'm not sure there were many more places they could take the character.

And I don't think it's just the stealing of the money - Maryanne has something big going for Sam.

Art Crawl!!!

She wants to sacrifice him. (Possibly he knows too much and isn't under her thrall.)

Eric and Godric broke my heart too.

Yes, Eric and Jason look disturbingly similar. Who would have guessed?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

It didn't help that the last scene with Sookie it was with Jason watching the news in bed with her.
