Punishingly Intricate

I wanted to love 6FU but hated every single character eventually so that might it kind of hard for me. I watched way more of it than I should have considering how much it irritated me.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

where somebody dies at the start of every show

Easily my favorite part. I watched every Sunday with the same group of people that I watched football and the Sopranos with. Before every episode we would have a pool of how the death would occur.

Always Anti-fascist!

The funny thing is, I expected it to be like "Dead Like Me" and you know,it's not. But I've enjoyed it once I've forgiven it for not being a wacky mortuary comedy...I'm still not sure if I'll watch them all or not. Because I can sort of see the haters' point and because nothing can live up to all that acclaim. Except The Wire...The Wire deserves everything. (Ok, I've done my duty as a fake literary spouse.)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

What lisah said.

Always Anti-fascist!

I loved the ones with Keith's smart-aleck niece, though. She was great.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The one where they were scoping out the competition and Brenda came in with her head wrapped in that scarf made me lose it. She often irritated me, but man what a ball it must have been for Rachel Griffiths to play a character who would do anything.

Always Anti-fascist!

That must have been fun for her, yeah.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Lisa and Tom speak for me, too. I think I've seen almost every single episode (mainly because my wife loved the show), but I rolled my eyes constantly through almost all of them.

Sometimes I really enjoy that. Mocking stuff. Although I do get the urge to be all "English, motherfucker, English!" when they think they're really Significant.

But I do that. Much as I found out I like The West Wing, I still think it needs Clay Davis to clap Rob Lowe on the shoulder and say "Sheeit. Sam Seaborn, my favorite whiteboy." Because we didn't get where we are in a power struggle between high-minded professionals, you know? (And I could watch that actor be slimy all day.)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm still, after watching every episode, not sure if I like it or not.

Well, that's not inspiring confidence!

The characters are well-drawn, I think. Sometimes I like one, sometimes another, they all take turns being idiots and bastards and woobies, kind of.

Hm.

I loved 6FU, because I'm inclined to like a show where somebody dies at the start of every show

Hee. The TWoP recapper instituted a Start-to-Corpse number to aid in grading each episode (the lower the number of seconds, the higher the grade)

I think I've seen almost every single episode (mainly because my wife loved the show), but I rolled my eyes constantly through almost all of them.

I...hope I like the show? I have a friend who really loves it and has been on me to watch it for ages.
