I was duckpin bowling with a number of Deadwood fans last night and every time someone left "dead wood" in the lane (that is, didn't reset so the fallen pins would be picked up) we'd yelled "COCKSUCKER!"
very satisfying
I asked if anyone had any questions for Ian MacShane (Mc? too lazy to go back and look) and all I got was "How did you become SO AWESOME?"
Anybody watching Californication? I loves it.
This just in:
Dexter
still rocks.
Thanks for the Deadwood suggestions. My interview with McShane went live earlier today so I thought I'd post the link. Really nice guy--I didn't have as long with him as I would have liked (that's the problem with these marathon press days) but he's a total pro.
Desperately Seeking Swearengen
Nicely done, Fone.
I was so jealous when you told us.
I've started
Six Feet Under.
I've watched the first two episodes. It's an odd show. I'm not sure whether I like it or not. Most of the characters kinda suck, except for David.

Waits for the inevitable joke...
He just doesn't want to admit it.
Do I fill a niche or what?
Initially, I felt that way, a little. Except I love Peter Krause so I wanted to like Nate.
If Clare had been on when I was in high school, she would have been my idol. Although I had Darlene Connor so, not completely deprived.
Long story short, they grew on me. Although sometimes I do think they work at being miserable.
I'm still, after watching every episode, not sure if I like it or not.
The characters are well-drawn, I think. Sometimes I like one, sometimes another, they all take turns being idiots and bastards and woobies, kind of.
I loved 6FU, because I'm inclined to like a show where somebody dies at the start of every show (it kept me into to Law & Order for the longest time).
