Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Yay for new thread!

I'm also one of those who believes that the Haitian's powers of nullification are only for mental abilities, not all-encompassing.

When did we find out that Papa Petrelli killed himself by jumping off a building? I don't remember that. Though I do hope it was the same building.

we never learned how the Haitian dampens powers. I think that he makes you forget how to use them. But then, how does it work on involuntary powers like Claire?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I think that he makes you forget how to use them. But then, how does it work on involuntary powers like Claire?

If you are correct, it\'s a non-issue since he\'s never dampened Claire\'s powers!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Wasn't it at least implied that he's erased Claire's memories of her own powers before? Wouldn't stop them from manifesting when needed, but it would be pretty easy to miss the fact that you never bruise or get paper cuts, barring freakish clumsiness (like Claire's).

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I think that he makes you forget how to use them. But then, how does it work on involuntary powers like Claire?

This is my theory as well. As for involuntary powers...well, to my knowledge we don't know yet.

Is it not going to be shown in the states, or is this a sneak preview?

Sneak preview. It's airing on Sunday on Lifetime. (Sunday's show is two hours -- I don't know if itunes has the complete 2 hour pilot or not -- it just says episode 1.)
