I'm just waiting to see if I pass out. Long story.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Littlebug says that once the powers have begun you can't stop them. The Haitian is useless once someone has started....but that first day in the bar with Greg G, he was using and then hit a void so...

hmmm..

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

And didn't Eden get captured because she couldn't 'convince' the Haitian to let her go?

Love the idea that it was that same rooftop!

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Gah. I do not want to ship Mohinder/Sylar. I do not want to ship Mohinder/Sylar. I do not want to ship Mohinder/Sylar. I do not want to ship Mohinder/Sylar. I do not want to ship Mohinder/Sylar.

I DO.

That totally made my night. Linderman vs. Petrelli matriarch -- it's very The Stand. And Nathan caving into his ambition. Oh, Nathan.

It's very weird to me to see that dude play Linderman, because I associate him with a whole mess of other things and not ev0l badass Vegas mogul guy.

Okay, did anyone else expect Mohinder to burst into flame?

Dude, YES. For a second I swear I thought he was on fire. Damned Supernatural.

Could anyone tell who Isaac painted?

I thought it was Peter getting his head lobbed off. There would be no point for Mohinder to get his head lobbed off, he has no powers. And now Isaac HAS A CHOICE: does he save the man he erroneously blames for the death of his estranged lover? OR DOES HE SAVE HIM? (cue doom-y voiceover)

There's a randomly large amount of Sam/Peter.

So emo it *hurts.*

I don't even read fanfic and I can't help but fan the flames: [link]

Oh my god I think the slash just killed me.

I'm trying to think of times we've seen someone's power nullified.

I can only think of the thing with Matt, and I'm inclined to believe that it was a case of one dude's mental business overwhelming another dude's mental business and not nullification of all powers.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I can't read back to everything cause there's just too much

Thisis called skippin' and skimmin', and happens to the best of us.

but what if Papa Petrelli didn't kill himself by jumping off the roof, but he could fly. So he was up there for a reason but little did he know the Haitian was around.... and splat.

That is... evil! And funny. In a splatty way.

I was vaguely under the impression it was Eden who did the power-suppression thing, not Haitian Guy, but I admit to not watching carefully on such matters.

hip deep in pie

Do we know if Papa P "jumped" off that same rooftop?

Well they keep coming back to that rooftop so it has to be.

I do not want to ship Mohinder/Sylar.

Oh, I don't want to ship them...

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

The Haitian can nullify powers, right? Was there no opportunity for him to resolve last week's problem by doing so? Why wouldn't HRG beeline for him instead of a syringe?

There's a goodly number of people, me included, who suspect he can only nullify psionic powers -- mind reading, mind control -- and that it's not a seperate ability ... just a side-benefit of his own psionic talents.
