Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I can't read back to everything cause there's just too much

Thisis called skippin' and skimmin', and happens to the best of us.

but what if Papa Petrelli didn't kill himself by jumping off the roof, but he could fly. So he was up there for a reason but little did he know the Haitian was around.... and splat.

That is... evil! And funny. In a splatty way.

I was vaguely under the impression it was Eden who did the power-suppression thing, not Haitian Guy, but I admit to not watching carefully on such matters.

hip deep in pie

Do we know if Papa P "jumped" off that same rooftop?

Well they keep coming back to that rooftop so it has to be.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

The Haitian can nullify powers, right? Was there no opportunity for him to resolve last week's problem by doing so? Why wouldn't HRG beeline for him instead of a syringe?

There's a goodly number of people, me included, who suspect he can only nullify psionic powers -- mind reading, mind control -- and that it's not a seperate ability ... just a side-benefit of his own psionic talents.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Yay for new thread!

I'm also one of those who believes that the Haitian's powers of nullification are only for mental abilities, not all-encompassing.

When did we find out that Papa Petrelli killed himself by jumping off a building? I don't remember that. Though I do hope it was the same building.

we never learned how the Haitian dampens powers. I think that he makes you forget how to use them. But then, how does it work on involuntary powers like Claire?

If you are correct, it\'s a non-issue since he\'s never dampened Claire\'s powers!
