Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't see the nuance you do, Strega. I'm reading the piece like those ten things piss him off every time he sees them now, and my responses are to that. I don't see what difference being witty when pissed off makes--I certainly don't see the automatic "Well, I'm not that pissed off if I can be a smartass about it" that I think I'm getting from your reading.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I do like the analogy that Daddy and OWI are like spies with some noble mission who are not above using unsavory tactics or using people and putting them in harms way to gain their objective. Supposed to be the "good guys", but not someone you'd like to be friends with.

so, like Section One?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Smallville- So Clark gets saved by Deus ex Martian Manhunter?!?

"We have trust issues." Mylar

The OWI certainly seems very dark grey at best to me. There's the catch and release on radioactive man. I don't know if they know about Niki/ikiN, but if they do that's another person who they know is a danger to the general public that they just let wander around on the streets.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So Clark gets saved by Deus ex Martian Manhunter?!?

Oh, is that who that is? Cool.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

What, no SPN talk?

Oh, Dean.

And I'm worried that the boys are missing the distinction between "Dad died for me," and "Dad lost his soul and is suffering eternal torments in Hell for me." The first is sad but perhaps you can recognize his choice; the second is not to be borne.

We shall see, we shall see.

If not, I'll be incredibly suprised. Bald, obviously not human, glowing red eyes, flies and has a penchant for Oreos. If they decide to have him stick around, I hope they get Carl Lumbly to do his voice. (Who, aside from apparently fighting Cylons this week, I haven't seen or heard much of lately.)

Another Smallville thought: What was up with Chloe and the Gramma/Softer Side of Sears!Willow look today?

Yeah, I can't quite see Papa Winchester selling his soul to save Dean's life. If crossroads demon can cure Hudson's wife of terminal cancer and let him live for another 10 years on top of it before collecting, I would think Daddy Winchester's immediate death, plus the Colt would be more than enough of a bargain for Dean's life.

Yeah, that sort of came out of nowhere.

I would think Daddy Winchester's immediate death, plus the Colt would be more than enough of a bargain for Dean's life.

Well, there's bargain and there's fun.

My SPN talk is: hee, MySpace! and woo, hot demon.

Also: SOON OMG.

"Would you mind not farting while I'm saving the world?" - Doctor Who

Mr. Benett's speech to Issac was:

"For many years now a number of us have been tracking, locating, monitoring people like you. Sometimes the process goes smoothly, as in your case, and other times...well, let's just say people misinterpret our motives and then it can go very wrong.

Fourteen years ago there was just such a case which sadly ended in a death. A woman left behind a baby girl that had no one to take care of her. My wife and I had been having a hard time conceiving a child of our own at the time. It was like God had reached down and given us a miracle.

Issac, this is my daughter we're talking about. I'm begging you."

The man definately believes he's on the side of the angels. He helped Issac get clean. He spared the quarterback's life even though he deserved much worse for assaulting Claire. He wants to stop Sylar and the bombing.

He's also believes that the ends justify the means. Kidnappings and mind wipes are routine. He's willing to abuse Eden's trust and use her to turn Issac into a junkie again to save his daughter and others.

The comparison to The Operative is a good one. He is a believer.

OWI reminds me of tales of the CIA during the Cold War. Plenty of morally questionable things were done in the name of freedom and national security. The greater good was served, but the victory is tainted.

Art Crawl!!!

Excellent SPN complete with EVIL promos. Evil.

Very amusing Smallville. I LAUGHED at the OTP proposal room -- two entire hedges of blooming rose bushes and a entire regiment of candles alit and a silver casket with a silver box with the ring. Too funny.

Plus, Staticy Lex in the Teaser was just so amusing.

I thought that was Martian Manhunter. Cool.
