She got hit hard by a player, I don't remember if it's the same guy who later tried to rape her, but he did say she wasn't as dainty as she looked.
Also, I don't know who/what The Pusher is. What does he/she/it do? Push people to do things they wouldn't normally do with his/her/its mind?

For fear of entering No-Prize territory, I find myself wondering if there's a minimum amount of caution and prevention that normal people exert that Claire doesn't, since subconciously she knows she can't be hurt.
That explanation might work for the garbage disposal incident, but the full-on Exorcist head twist from being tackled and the impalement on a piece of wood from falling down (with no more than 100 lbs. weight) indicate an abnormal fragility to me. It's as if she's made of regenerating Play-do.

Got it. Thanks, PC. That is kind of a cool power to have. I wonder what the limits are. I mean, could Pixie just force anyone to do anything? Do they have to already be somewhat predisposed to doing it? Is it a proximity thing; does she have to be close enough to whisper in your ear?

It's an old The X-Files reference (to a season 3 episode, "Pusher" [link] ) in which Mulder and Scully track a Monster of the Week, who can "push" people to do what what he wants -- even kill themselves. Pretty seminal episode for a standalone, starring everybody's favourite Vancouver actor, Robert Wisden.
