"We have trust issues." Mylar

Got it. Thanks, PC. That is kind of a cool power to have. I wonder what the limits are. I mean, could Pixie just force anyone to do anything? Do they have to already be somewhat predisposed to doing it? Is it a proximity thing; does she have to be close enough to whisper in your ear?

Why am I so obssesed with this?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

If she's that powerful, why not use it on Claire's father and take over whatever this group is herself?

not everyone wants power. It's no good being able to make people do what you want if you don't know what that is.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Also, I don't know who/what The Pusher is. What does he/she/it do? Push people to do things they wouldn't normally do with his/her/its mind?

Yeah. Sorry. It's an old The X-Files reference (to a season 3 episode, "Pusher" [link] ) in which Mulder and Scully track a Monster of the Week, who can "push" people to do what what he wants -- even kill themselves. Pretty seminal episode for a standalone, starring everybody's favourite Vancouver actor, Robert Wisden.

Pre-DVD, I nearly wore out my VHS tape that had "Pusher" and "Jose Chung's From Outer Space". Good times.

And featuring the classic fuck-off line from Pusher to Skinner: "Take a hike, Mel Cooley!"

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Pretty seminal episode for a standalone,

And Pusher came back in "Kitsunegari."

Man, I haven't watched XF in a long time.

Didn't she say "you promised I wouldn't have to do that again" to Mr. Bennet before she went in and pushed Isaac back to heroin?

Maybe what DL did to both Matt and Radioactive guy is erase the memory of where they had been/what tests had been done to them and while doing that, he amplified their power accidentally? Or maybe Mr. B and team just tag 'em and let them go to see what will happen? Sort of a Prime Directive maybe? Or I'm just fanwanking.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Man, I haven't watched XF in a long time.

Me neither.

I was just thinking that someday I'll buy the early seasons of XF on DVD - just not now.

Yeah, I was wondering what she was referring to. One of my friends suspected she was the one pushing Isaac on heroin in the first place, to cultivate his power.

I was just thinking that someday I'll buy the early seasons of XF on DVD - just not now.

Yeah, they're so damn expensive. I ought to have them, though. It was my first fandom!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

And Pusher came back in "Kitsunegari."

When I saw Diana Scarwid on Prison Break recently, the first character I thought of was still "Linda Bowman" from that episode, despite having loved her as Karen Tyler in Wonderfalls. First fandom imprinting lasts a loooooong time.

Maybe what DL did to both Matt and Radioactive guy is erase the memory of where they had been/what tests had been done to them

The Mysterious Bald Possibly Haitian Black Dude is not D.L. though. I mean, they are both bald and black and tall and hot, but they are not the same character. The MBPHBD has mind-wiping capacity, while D.L. phases through solid, all Kitty Pryde-esque.
