I like the idea that Jack has a few more decades under his belt than however much time he spent cleaning up after the Daleks in PotW then jumping back in time to join Torchwood in early 21st century Cardiff. For his sake, and for the creep factor, I really hope it does not turn out that he has been kicking around looking for the Doctor for centuries.
As for his personal timeline - it feels to me as if the incident in Lahore came after he became immortal. He did not show any surprise that he was still alive after his men were killed.
In reading the Wikipedia entry on the show I came across this:
On October 2, 2006, Emerson Electric Company, an appliance market competitor of NBC's owner General Electric, filed suit in federal court against NBC. so, now they're claiming that it's NOT dangerous to stick your hand in the drain? Besides, we've already seen that she injures disproportionately to the amount of force exerted on the body (she got hit by the football and it broke her neck), so that makes sense that she would get mangled.

You know, I didn't think about this until Vortex pointed it out. She falls off a two? three? story rig, and all she gets is a dislocated shoulder and a few ribs poking out. But she gets rammed by a football (though I thought she got sacked by a player?) and it breaks her neck?

Damn, I was hoping he would turn out to be Jaye Tyler's long lost relative, given Bryan Fuller's involvement with HEROES.

Also, I was a bit confused by Matt's retelling of his origin story. He seemed like he was agreeing with Radioactive Man's story that the powers didn't appear until after they were taken by MBG, but Matt already had his powers before he was taken, right?
I thought he said they got stronger after he was kidnapped.

You didn't cite any actual physics, so I think you're not even close to 11 on the geek-o-meter.
I think that they did. In the beginning, he could only hear the little girl. I think that if someone is "projecting" or thinking something very strongly, it affects him more, like in the grocery store.

For fear of entering No-Prize territory, I find myself wondering if there's a minimum amount of caution and prevention that normal people exert that Claire doesn't, since subconciously she knows she can't be hurt.

Yes he did, but maybe after MBG, he doesn't recall having them any more.
What I can't understand is why BGM would catch and release someone as dangerous as radioactive guy. He and the Hatian go in, amplify his powers without teaching him how to have any control over them and then toss him back out into the general public? That ain't right. I can see putting Matt back out there because his power is not going to fry anyone or give them cancer (though why couldn't it have been his wife that expired?). I guess BGM thought that he had no use for radioactive man, so he just cut him loose.
Also, I don't know who/what The Pusher is. What does he/she/it do? Push people to do things they wouldn't normally do with his/her/its mind?
