I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad. It's... depressing.

Art Crawl!!!

This is an actual good episode of Smallville.

I think because it's all Lex/Ollie centric with their boarding school memories.

Art Crawl!!!

Ben Edlund should always write SPN.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Seriously! Now that was a good episode. And I was hugely grateful for the revelation that the good twin (forgot his name) had never used his mind-control on Tracy before, and I liked that she didn't trust him afterwards. Actions having crappy consequences, even when they're the right actions for the right reasons? Gives me the warm fuzzies, that does.

Yay Ben Edlund! I didn't realize this was one by him. The director's cut snippet from the CW website had looked promising.

Art Crawl!!!

It's the first episode he's had writer's credit on and it's VERY good. Funny and creepy. And arc-y!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

This is an actual good episode of Smallville.

Well, it was written by DeKnight. Though his past outtings haven't always been the best. It was pretty good (though I cringe at yet another use for kryptonite) and Ollie's acting didn't even seem to suck quite so bad this time around (though he was out-acted by his younger double. Which, of all the kids, showed the biggest resemblance to his adult self, almost scarily so.)

I was so worried, when Ollie's dark-haired, blue-eyed friend mentioned getting back to Gotham that that slow pan along the back of the limo was going to reveal a plate that said "Wayne". But no, it was just him about to blow up, so it was all good.

As for SPN, I enjoyed the ep but unfortunately the sound was screwed up for the first 15 minutes for me. I couldn't hear the dialogue at all and all the background noises and music were really loud. It fixed itself after the first commerical break, but unfortunately SPN has no commerical break between the teaser and the first act so I missed out on a lot of apparent snarking and attempted Dean-seduction.

OMG REO Speedwagon!

Dean singing REO Speedwagon! My flist is all asquee.

Really, that was very entertaining, although I felt bad for poor Andy, who found and lost his birth mother on the same day.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I felt bad for poor Andy, who found and lost his birth mother on the same day.

Seriously! That was sad.

Both SV and SPN were quite good this week. I was very pleased when, right after I thought, "Dean should stay behind since Sam and Andy are immune to the mind control," Sam told Dean to stay behind, and Dean knew that he should stay behind. I like when characters make logical, appropriate decisions!

And I was hugely grateful for the revelation that the good twin (forgot his name) had never used his mind-control on Tracy before, and I liked that she didn't trust him afterwards. Actions having crappy consequences, even when they're the right actions for the right reasons?

Yes, that was a nice touch.

Also, you guys can have your Sam and Dean because OMG ALONA TAL IS SO HOT.
