Now I want all my gay boyfriends to hook up with Captain Jack. He'd look so pretty in their Christmas photos....
'Serenity'
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

One of my guy friends hooked up with him.

You mean... I've licked candy off the neck of the woman whose friend slept with Captain Jack? Suddenly I feel a tiny bit closer to God.
That "Keys to the Castle" show on A&E was full of yumminess. (ftr, had Captain Jack as the host...)
So was that castle in DW the castle from Rocky Horror Picture Show, or is it just me?
Also, the Lady MacBravery seemed so familiar, but I IMDBed her and I seriously think it's just the particular accent. Sounds just like the girl from The Girl in the Cafe.

Take that Kevin Bacon.

SG-1 DVD Films Get OK'd
From ScifiWire:
SCI FI Channel's original series Stargate SG-1 will wrap up its 10-year run this spring, but that's not the end of the saga. Executive producer Brad Wright told TV Guide that MGM has granted a green light, and enough money, to produce two movies, most likely for DVD.
The first film will tie up most of the finale's loose threads. "It's the climax of the Ori storyline," Wright said, and will be written and directed by executive producer Robert Cooper. The second film, written by Wright, will involve time travel, and both projects should debut in the fall of 2007.
Though no deals are signed, SG-1's stars are said to be "very eager" to continue, Wright added. "They're not big-budget [films] by any definition, but for us it's pretty good," he said. "As we've proven over the years, just give us little more money and we can make pretty good television or DVDs."
The finale's loose ends? I haven't even seen it yet, and already there's loose ends?
eta yay movies.
The finale's loose ends? I haven't even seen it yet, and already there's loose ends?
Well, they probably planned it out when they thought they had another season to follow it up with.
Well, the finale hasn't aired yet, right?
(What we saw was just the mid-season finale.)
It's funny that I feel so bereft of something I haven't watched regularly in four years.
I move that the term "bisexual" be defined as officially too limiting for Captain Jack.
I would offer the alternatives "omni-sexual" or "yes, please"
Stargate finales (nearly) always end with a cliffhanger, so, if they didn't know beforehand that this was it, it's not surprising, at all, to me, that they have loose ends.
